Recipe: Orange Muffin

Serves: 15 to 16 muffin
Dry Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour - 2 cup
- Orange - 2 to 3 (for zest and juice)
- Orange zest - 2 tbsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt -1/2 Tsp
- White granulated sugar - 1 cup
Wet Ingredients:
- Vegetable oil - 1/3 cup
- Orange juice - 1/2 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1
Preparation:
- Line muffin tray with cup linear and set aside. Preheat the oven to 400 F for 10 -12 mins.
- Mix orange zest and orange juice in mixing bowl.
- Mix milk and egg together in measuring cup and add to bowl. Then add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt mix everything together.
- Then add the remaining vegetable oil. Stir to combine.
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full. Bake in preheated oven for 18 minutes.
- Test for with a toothpick for doneness. Let muffins stay in pan for 5 minutes before removing to cool on a rack.
Note:
- All ingredients should be at room temperature for good results.
- Use appropriate measurement cups for good results. The measurement cups I use here are US standard measurement.
- Baking for exact 18 min is enough to give the perfect color and best result.
