Banana Bread (Eggless)

What to do with an overripe banana, Banana Bread is the best and quick option. When it comes to baking banana bread I like the mild flavor of banana. This recipe is the best so far I have tasted and tried, not so sweet and light with great texture.

Recipe: Banana Bread
Type: Cake
Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Total time: 40 mins
Serves: 3-4 serving

Dry Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Choco chip - 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 and 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt -1/4 Tsp
Wet Ingredients:
  • Refined oil - 1/2 cup
  • Banana - 1/3 cup (approx 2 large banana)
  • Vanilla essence - 1 and 1/2 Tsp
Preparation:
  • Line 8" square tin with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350 F for 10 -12 mins.
  • Mix wet all ingredient in mixing bowl.
  • In another bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt mix everything together.
  • Then add the wet and dry ingredient together. Stir to combine. Do not overmix.
  • Pour this batter into greased square tin, tap slightly to level and release air gaps.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top, becomes golden and a tester comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in a wire rack for minimum 10 minutes, slice and serve the eggless banana bread with coffee.

Note:
  • All ingredients should be at room temperature for good results.
  • Use appropriate measurement cups for good results. The measurement cups I use here are US standard measurement.
  • Instead of choco chips, you can add raisins/almonds or just leave it plain too.
  • You can bake this cake in a loaf tin or a cake tin.
  • If you want to make this eggless banana bread for guests use maida. The bread will be more light and color will also be pleasant

Thank you..:)
